Drámaíocht as Gaeilge

6th class wrote and performed drámaí beaga as gaeilge sa seomra ranga. Bhí siad sa bhialann ag ordú bia. Bhí na grúpaí ag obair go dian agus bhí na drámaí an-mhaith.

6th class write Halloween Stories

We wrote Halloween stories for the boys and girls in second class. We really enjoyed writing the stories and making them into little books. We made clay monsters based on the characters in our stories. We read the stories to second class and then gave them the books and the clay to keep. You can see pictures of our clay and our books in the slideshow to the right.

5th class work

We were learning about volcanoes. We made these volcanoes in groups and we made them 'explode' with vinegar, red food dye and bicarbonate soda. We had loads of fun!
We have also been learning about the Greeks. We did projects showing what we learned. You can see pictures of our volcanoes and our projects in the slideshow to the left.

Doodle4Google

Ms. Woodcock's 5th class and Ms. Teehan's 6th class entered a competition called Doodle4Google. We had to design a logo for the google website under the theme 'My Future'. We had to design the logo and then write a supporting statement to explain what we drew. We can only enter 6 of the design. Ms. Woodcock and Ms. Teehan picked 6 and sent them off to Google. We hope we have a winner. We'll keep you posted!!

6th Class Paintings

We cut up little strips of a magazine and placed them onto an A4 or A3 piece of paper. Then we extended the landscape. Hopefully it is difficult for you to see the strip of magazine!
